Former BBC Consultants Participate in Parliamentary Questioning In the Wake of Assertions of Partiality in Leaked Memo

She opens by giving details to the leaked document written by Michael Prescott and published in the Telegraph.
"I do not desire the BBC slanting in any particular direction, My only wish is for it straight, unbiased and just," he says.
Upon being questioned whether he believes the British Broadcasting Corporation is systematically partial, he answers: "Absolutely not. It is important to note, numerous aspects the British Broadcasting Corporation creates is exceptional - encompassing factual and entertainment content."
But he adds: "There is real work that needs to be done at the BBC."
Another previous consultant BBC specialist examined by the committee, Caroline Daniel, says she takes the BBC with great importance and that it operates a "persistent practice and vigorous discourse" across dynamic and complex issues.
"Whether the BBC was prepared to have a genuine dialogue and debate and act accordingly?" she reflects. "From my perspective, indeed, they were."
